I like the neo-classical style. It was popular in this country during the 18th and 19th centuries. I like buildings with soaring columns, cavernous interiors, and elegant domes. I have a great dislike of modern architecture. It is just glass, steel and concrete with no character or dignity.

Well we certainly do have a lot of medieval stuff in this country, especially in your beloved Gothic style :D

I am attracted to no particular period in history. I believe that all civilisations and historical eras have made contributions to culture, economics, or science. I will read about anything.
