Oh Torchwood...Torchwood is the bad@ss soap opera of the Who universe and I do so love it. I really can't wait to see where they go after Children of Earth. But I'm not too crazy about the while commin' to America story line but I trust Davies' writing to make it worth watching.

I agree I think the tail end of David's time brought a whole new facet to the Doctor character. The last 2 or 3 episodes you could really see him losing control and becoming desperate to keep living it was heartbreaking and at moments a little scary and that's something we hadn't really seen from the Doctor before. We alway hear "the oncoming storm" blahblah but never see the potential for that reckless abandon. and I think it's made Matt Smith's performance all the better it's the best of David's frantic light hearted banana daiquiri Doctor and the best of his take on the rest of the universe Doctor as well. I'm SUPER excited to see how having a married couple along for the ride changes things I really love that Rory is back because I love him so much!

Agreed, though David Tennant will forever be my Doctor I really like the new direction the show's taking and Matt just has such a great fun energy

It's going to be amazing no questions asked. All the same I'll be shocked if we do from out all about River this season. The character is just such a plot tease lol
