Yeah, definitely give it another look, it's better with a second viewing.
I've been writing and making films for a couple years now. Nothing really worth watching yet, but soon haha.
How about you? Are you into writing for interpersonal/international affairs, activism and events, or still working on finishing up school?

Oh, I loved it! I think that a mark of a great storyteller is the ability to take something simple and everyday and turn it into something extraordinary. The characters and their relationships are what pull us into the film and care for them. This was actually THE film that turned me away from comedy and thriller writing to pure drama. I look at the best films ever made and all of them have deep characters that reveal to us something about our own nature.
