Hey there. Tucson. Sounds like it should be Tuscon, but what do I know! I heard an American pronounce Lewisham once and that was totally wrong too :D.
It's very built-up, but not exactly high-rise. Average shopping centre, victorian brick terraced houses, parks, busy roads and lots of police sirens. Good place though as it's very easy to get places from!
I guess you're in a semi-desert or something? I'm eager to hear about these gems/cactus. Are they all over the floor or in lots of speciality shops?! Sounds fun!

The open-mic night was really cool. I have a friend who sings. He sung a couple of his songs which was pretty cool. So much has happened since last we spoke. I started my last semester at my university. Just so much work and for some reason I'm like the captain of the groups I'm a part of in 2 of my classes. How are you?! Classes??!

On scale from 1 to 10 I would give it 7. And to my eye, you can never totally adjust, you just get used to some things and that's it. But you will never be like people who have been here since they were born. I think it's ok though, because you can't change yourself. Where are you planning to go anyway? UK? Or something rather more exciting?
Hmm... It really depends on circumstances really, when I came here I didn't have much, I can pretty much say that I came to the UK with one suitcase and that was pretty much it. So there was rather lots of things I needed and didn't have.
Studying abroad... Well I wanted to go study somewhere different than everyone and I definitely didn't want to stay in Poland. So I came over to my family in London. Thing is that life here is quite expensive so I ended up studying by distance learning, but at least I'm doing what I wanted to do - I'm studying on my own pace and getting work experience at the very same time!

I'm fine thanks. The Slovene language is one of the 27 Slavic languages throughout Europe and it's history. It's actually quite easy to learn I've found :)
