Well, I guess I can share what I know about Irish culture :) I am Irish, and Native American :) Anyways, the reason we celebrate St. Patricks day, is because, back in the day, there was a lot of violence over religion. Then a monk named Patrick came to Ireland and introduced Catholicism, everyone liked the idea, and converted, they all united under that religion. So, we celebrate St. Patricks day, because of him :)
