Hi Karen,
Thanks for your reply. I can tell you about life in Spain, having gone through all the paperwork and hassle to get a residents permit, however, Gran Canaria is a bit different to mainland Spain. On the mainland the weather can be very weird, for example, a few weeks ago there were floods in Madrid, with cars and rubbish containers being washed down the streets, and now they have a heatwave. In the Canaries the weather is never extreme, we need neither any kind of heating or air conditioning. Yesterday the temperature was 43º in Seville, here it was 32º.
I'd love to hear about your time in Mexico, I love that country, I've been twice, and I lived on chilli three meals a day!
If you want to do proper e-mail (this small print plays merry Hell with my aging eyeballs) my e-mail address is griff115@gmail.com
Regards,
Griff
