Julie, do you think you'd get on with Charles Bukowsky and Henry Miller in real life? It seems like they weren't always the nicest people, but I wonder if some people like reading their books without liking them as people and aren't too bothered about the contradiction. I feel dirty, though, reading their books while actively disliking them, and it almost feels like enjoying a passionate romance with someone who betrayed people close to me.

I like reading, but I dont have favourite writers... I rather have preferances in genres. I asked u about bukowsky because once i came across his short stories and got shocked knowing that he's a renown author... Also the rest of ur list didnt match those stories... So i think ill try reading his novels.. i thought all his art is like those stories.
