dont worry about chinesse language, its quite easy actually.... and u should choose a city in which people speak manderain instead of dialect.. that is quite important... if u choose city like chengdu, chongqin or wuhan. that would be terrible... people speak dialect a lot.. u wont learn the standerd chinese in these cities... i myself can speak good flunent and standard chinese.....

well... u should consider a good city to go, its important.. in Taiyuan there arent any foreignores , u may feel lonely....
i think u should start with big cities like beijing and shanghai.. there are a lot of places to have fun with after work.. and there are much more foreignores there...
