No I haven't tried any dishes at all. I don't know any Icelandic people around here, and there's certainly no places to get Scandinavian food. At lest none that I know of. I've been looking up recipes online and was gonna try making some of them. I read on one recipe site that the author used to eat macaroni in milk as a child. Is that common?

This summer, I'm just trying to work a lot and save money for instrument and recording equipment. I'd like to have a recording studio some day.

Hey, do you have a facebook or some other way that you prefer to use to stay in touch? My Icelandic dictionary and grammar books arrived, now I'm waiting for my actual language program. Once that shows up I'll surely be wanting to talk really poor Icelandic with you ;)
