yes, we celebrate festivals. we have carnival xD i love it !
and we have "schützenfest" ´(there isn´t any name in english...) there are some roundabouts and so on... some people can shoot onto a bird of plastic and who can shoot the bird first is "Schützenkönig"( the winner xDDD) that we celebrate every year in the summer for three days :) i love it, too!

the week with my exchange partner was great. we had a lot of fun together xD but she can´t speak german very well, so i had to explain her a lot of words by drawing them...xD it was funny :)
we were ice-skating, but she can´t :D and we went to eat pizza for 3 times this week... (now i don´t want to eat one for a loooong time xD)
"köln" was great, too! i went shopping and bought new clothes again :) then i walked across a big place and suddenly my friend was laugh... i didn´t know why, but then she told me, that i walked in front of a camera (from TV) into an interview with some people...and i didn´t realise anything...but than i looked directly in the camera...that was so embarrassing...omg :DDD but now i laugh about this, too :)
then we drove to "düsseldorf", there we were in the parliament...it was so boring, so two of my friends slept xD and we visited the television tower, there we lay on the glass in nearly 160 meter. it was great!
at the last day we had a big party with all people from the exchange...but my (and some of the others) exchange partner drunked a little bit too much...but it was funny :D
